Pros and cons of Pump Log® - Track Breast Milk app for iPhone and iPad

Pump Log® - Track Breast Milk app good for

I am obsessed with this app. I pump exclusively for my son, and I love everything about this app. Its much more user-friendly than other apps Ive tried-no need to "transfer" milk from fridge to freezer, no need to enter when you make a bottle, its amazing. I love looking at the graphs. I love the calculator to figure out how long you need to pump! I cant store the amount of milk I need due to space constraints, but its still awesome anyways! I love keeping track of my freezer stash. I always lose count on my own! The only thing I want to see is a comparison between breasts over time-I feel like my one breast is a serious slacker but maybe its not as bad as I think! I would like to see it visually though!
I breastfeed but also pump once a day, this app is great! I track how much milk I have pumped, timers and total ounces/gallons pumped! Love it!
I love this app and its very helpful! I just wish that it would be compatible in a way where if I have it downloaded on my iPhone and iPad that it will sync together and update them both instead of having to do both manually.
Im EPing for twins and this app is SO encouraging and helpful! It helps me track my freezer stash and know how much longer I need to pump to reach my goals. I highly recommend this app
This app was recommended by another mom who was exclusively pumping. I downloaded, started using it, fell in love and got roped in. I say got roped in because after my free trial period was up...I got the pop up to purchase the app. Ok, no big deal, love this app so lets do this. $6.99! Are you freakin kidding me?! $6.99 for an iPhone app?! Well played Pump Log! You roped me in...I love the app and couldnt not pay that, but Im still not happy with that price! Moms beware...youll love the app and then have no choice but to pay $6.99. Yes, I paid it and yes I love the app! But Im still standing on the fact that it is an insane amount for an iPhone app. In all seriousness, the app is great, but beware what youre getting into. Youre roped in to fall in love and then have no choice to pay an outrageous amount for an app.
This app makes me feel more in control of my pumping. As opposed to rounding about when I pumped last and sometimes not remembering how long its been since the last pump session, this app keeps me directly on track. With reminders every set amount of hours to remind of pumping time and calculating when pumping will be completed, this app is so helpful!

Some bad moments

I very much enjoyed the free version of the app, its quite simple, but basically all I needed, until one day it said that I must upgrade to a later version. Over 5 $ for this? Really? Thanks but no
If you nurse as well as pump to feed baby, you can figure out the "Baby Consumes" per day by taking the amount of expressed milk baby drinks for the week and dividing by 7.... My baby eats 10 oz when Im at work 5 days a week so 10x5=50, 50/7= 7.2. I plug in 7.2 for "baby consumes" and this lets me know what date I have to pump to in order to have enough breast milk stored while Im away for my baby to stay breast fed only until shes one. So the point of that long-winded explanation is that this app is great for moms that dont exclusively pump as well. Its very useful if you like to see statistics and be able to know exactly what youre accomplishing. I like to play with the "production" number to see how long I have to pump if I can get up to a certain average ounces pumped a day. I find it encouraging to see how much longer I have to pump. Light at the end of the tunnel!
So easy to use!!!! It keeps me so organized and I look forward to seeing my stats and results every day and week.
Started using this app as I was preparing to return back to work. My son was 3 months and I had 2 months to get him on the bottle and put away a milk stash. This app help me calculate how much milk I was producing on a daily basis. My son is almost 1 and I am exclusively pumping. I can stop pumping earlier now because this app has helped calculate how much milk to store away. I was also to see if I needed to pump more, create a routine.
This app is so helpful to any mom that pumps! It literally tracks everything. I love being able to see how many total ounces Ive produced and how many days in my life Ive spent pumping. You must buy this if you pump for your baby!
❤️the app. Have been able to track how much and what times have pumped. Super easy and amazing app. Buy the app, its worth every penny. Tried other ones and defiantly this is the BEST one out there. Thanks
